‘‘Mary Benson was born from my genuine passion for dressmaking, timeless historical dressing, and enchanting nostalgic prints. After completing my studies at the University of Westminster in London, I wasted no time in starting my own business, and had the incredible opportunity to showcase my collections during London Fashion Week.
Mary Benson (née Sidgwick; 1841–1918) was an English hostess of the Victorian era. She was the wife of Edward Benson, who during their marriage became Archbishop of Canterbury. Their children included several prolific authors and contributors to cultural life.
