    Fallin's mother and father both served terms as mayor of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, where she was raised. She graduated from Tecumseh High School and attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Fallin also obtained a degree from Oklahoma State University.
