Mary Anna Hamilton, Duchess of Abercorn (née Lady Mary Curzon-Howe; 23 July 1848 – 10 May 1929), was an English aristocrat. She was the daughter of Richard Curzon-Howe, 1st Earl Howe, and his second wife, Anne Gore.

Marriage and issue. On 20 October 1966, at the age of 20, Phillips married James Hamilton, Marquess of Hamilton, Member of Parliament for Fermanagh and South Tyrone and son and heir apparent of the 4th Duke of Abercorn, at Westminster Abbey. The Queen and other members of the royal family attended, including Prince Andrew, who was a pageboy. [5]

Her parents were both members of prominent landed families well connected to British high society, especially to Queen Mary (1867–1953), who was asked to be her godmother.
