17 giu 2022 · Matej Šetinc. Aliases: Mato, Knez Atula, Knez, Količka Martinej. Matej is the founding member of the group. He got together with Ažo back in 2003 through a band Pussyfinger, soon they started writing their own songs.
Demoniac recruited Hong Kong-born guitarist Herman "Shred" Li in July 1998, and drummer Matej Setinc in October of the same year. The band distanced itself from black metal stylings and developed a high-speed melodic power metal style, with only Dawson's shrieked vocals remaining from their black metal roots.

Il gruppo nacque in seguito allo scioglimento dei Demoniac, gruppo nel quale militarono i chitarristi Herman Li, Sam Totman e il batterista Matej Setinc. I tre decisero di fondare un nuovo gruppo, chiamato DragonHeart.

The two later found vocalist ZP Theart through an advertisement, and soon acquired former Demoniac drummer Matej Setinc, bassist Steve Scott and keyboardist Steve Williams.
