Pressure Machine is the seventh studio album by American rock band the Killers.It was released on August 13, 2021. The album features the return of guitarist Dave Keuning to the studio with the band, after his absence on the previous album Imploding the Mirage, while bassist Mark Stoermer was absent due to difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic during recording.
They met up and immediately began working on writing music together, and recruited drummer Matt Norcross before recording a demo consisting of their first ever song - 'Mr Brightside' - and 'Desperate'. They recorded two more songs a month later, with Dave's roommate Dell Neal completing the line-up on bass guitar.

It includes tracks “Under the Gun,” “Desperate,” “Replaceable” and “Mr. Brightside.”. “I think we dropped, like, $2,500 on the recording,” recalls original drummer Matt Norcross.
