Mia and the Migoo (French: Mia et le Migou, Italian: Mià e il Migù) is a 2008 French-Italian animated film produced by Folimage and directed by Jacques-Rémy Girerd. The film is about a young girl's search for her father in a tropical paradise, threatened by the construction of a gigantic hotel resort.

Mia et le Migou. France, Italy. Synopsis. Forced to leave his destitute village to find work, Pedro finds himself far from home, working on a building site. He takes part in drilling a tunnel for a luxurious hotel complex project in a site of exceptional natural beauty hidden deep in the mountains.
Synopsis. One night Mia has a premonition. So after saying a few words of parting at her mother’s grave, she sets out on a cross continent journey, though mountains and jungles in search of her father, who has been trapped in a landslide at a construction site on a remote tropical lake.
