Millfield is a full boarding school with over 250 international students from 75 different countries, and a further 250 British students whose home is abroad, amongst its 1330 student body. Over 990 students board 7 days a week at school and the remainder are day students who live within commuting distance to the school.

Admissions (ages 7-13) Entry to Millfield Prep School is possible into all year groups, with the largest intake at Year 7. We will consider entry in January and April, as well as in September. If you would like to consider a place at Millfield Prep for your child, the first thing to do is to come and visit us.
Millfield is proud to be the only school in the UK to offer training in all three fencing weapons to both sexes at the highest levels. Fencing is the fourth sport to have been given an Academy status at the school and is available to every student as a games option, irrespective of their age or skill, and offered as a sport option in Year 9.
Millfield’s state-of-the-art athletics track includes a world-class eight lane sprint straight, a six lane 400m track, long jump pit and pole vault area with double entry mat. Athletics Philosophy.
