Moûtiers (French pronunciation:; Arpitan: Motiérs), historically also called Tarentaise, is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in Southeastern France. Moûtiers is the main access point to the Les Trois Vallées ski region in the French Alps.

Moûtiers est une commune française située dans le département de la Savoie, en région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Capitale historique de la vallée de la Tarentaise, Moûtiers est une petite ville qui comptait 3 475 habitants en 2021, ce qui en fait la vingt-et-unième commune savoyarde (2018) [I 1].
