Moderna Oikogeneia (in caratteri ellenici Μοντέρνα Οικογένεια) è una serie televisiva greca creata da Christopher Lloyd e Steven Levitan e prodotta dalla 20th Century Fox Television trasmessa tra il 2014 e il 2015 su Mega Channel. Si tratta di un remake della sitcom statunitense Modern Family.

The series used an original song, called "Μοντέρνα Οικογένεια" (Moderna Oikogeneia/Modern Family), by the Greek band "BURGER PROJECT". In the first few episodes, the whole song was used as the opening/ending theme. A shortened, no-vocals version was later used for the intro sequence. The ending credits always featured the whole song with vocals.
The show ended after just two seasons, due to low ratings. There are a few differences from the original plot. Carmen (Gloria) gets pregnant, and so does Fay (Claire), ruining her 6-year plan. Moderna Oikogeneia appears to be the only adaptation where the main characters and their descriptions are kept intact, except for Lambros (Cam) and Dimitris (Mitchell) adopting Lily from London, ra...It is mentioned that Dimitris (Mitchell) has U.K. citizenship, as he lived there for several years. This is probably why Lily was adopted from London.There's a running joke in the series (especially in Season 1); most people mistakenly say "Chazopoulos" instead of "Chatzopoulos" when referring to Philippos (Phil). "Chazo" (χαζό) means dummy in G...Lambros (Cam) and Dimitris (Mitchell) never kissed on camera.
