25 apr 2021 · Reconstruction of Al-tahira church in Mosul, Iraq Removal of rubble and debris started this month at the Syriac Catholic church of Al-tahira church in Mosul. The current church was completed in 1862 but parts of the basement and crypts dates back to the 7th century AD. Hopefully there will be progress with actual reconstruction soon!
