Muhammad Asad, in arabo محمد أسد, nato Leopold Weiss (Leopoli, 12 luglio 1900 – Mijas, 20 febbraio 1992), è stato un giornalista e scrittore austriaco naturalizzato pakistano. È stato tra i principali influenti islamici europei nel ventesimo secolo.
Muhammad Asad (born Leopold Weiss; 2 July 1900 – 20 February 1992) was an Austro-Hungarian-born Muslim polymath. A Jew, he worked as a journalist, traveler, writer, political theorist, and diplomat. His translation of the Quran in English, "The Message of The Qur'an" is one of the most notable of his works.
