  2. The course is delivered at NIDA’s Sydney campus. Term 1 Monday 30 January – Thursday 6 April. Term 2 Wednesday 26 April – Friday 30 June. Term 3 Monday 17 July – Friday 6 October. Classes are scheduled 4 days per week, 9am–5pm. The scheduling and delivery of this course each year is subject to minimum enrolment numbers.

  3. Musical Theatre courses. We offer students with a passion for musical theatre an opportunity to explore and extend their skills in a collaborative environment. Courses are designed to integrate the three disciplines of acting, singing and dancing to deliver stories with impact, affect an audience and expand a narrative arc.

  4. NIDA’s Melbourne home is situated in the heart of the action at 152 Sturt Street at the Creative Spaces: Guild. Only a stone’s throw away from the CBD, we are close to all forms of public transport and easily accessible by foot and bicycles too. Train: Flinders Street Station is the closest train station. 15 minute walk from the station.

  5. Welcome Week: 3 – 7 February 2025 (First years & MFA only) BFA Term 1: 10 February – 11 April 2025. Mid-semester break : 14 – 25 April 2025. BFA Term 2: 28 April – 20 June 2025. Semester 2: 21 July – 21 November 2025. BFA Term 3: 21 July – 12 September 2026. Mid-semester break: 15 – 19 September 2025.

  6. Bursaries are paid on a fortnightly basis during the NIDA year, with the value of individual scholarships in 2023 ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 annually, depending on need, as well as the year and course of study. Scholarships are only available to students currently enrolled at NIDA in full-time accredited courses.
