Nicholas Thomas Wright was born on 1 December 1948 in Morpeth, England. He is one of the world’s leading New Testament scholars and an authority on the apostle Paul. Professor Wright is ordained in the Church of England and served as Bishop of Durham from 2003 to 2010.
