Silversun Pickups are very excited to announce that bassist Nikki Monninger is expecting twin girls later this year. She’ll keep touring in the fall for as long as it’s possible, then Sarah Negahdari from the band The Happy Hollows will be filling in while Nikki is away.

Silversun Pickups is an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles that was formed in 2000. The band is composed of Brian Aubert, Nikki Monninger, Christopher Guanlao, and Joe Lester. The band released their debut EP, Pikul, in July 2005, and their debut album, Carnavas, on July 26, 2006.

1 nov 2022 · In those two decades-plus, the Silversun Pickups have released six albums, and have many hit songs such as “Panic Switch,” “Lazy Eye,” and “Circadian Rhythm.”. Monninger is looking forward to playing old songs as well as new ones on tour. “Sometimes musicians get tired of playing older songs,” says Monninger.
