Nirvana Street Murder is a 1990 Australian comedy film, written and directed by Aleksi Vellis, starring Mark Little, Ben Mendelsohn, Sheila Florance, Mary Coustas and Russell Gilbert.
After the police raid, Boady, Luke, Penny and friend, Smeg, have nowhere to live. Everybody retreats to a mansion owned by Molly (Sheila Florance), an old lady Luke looks after. The mansion is in Nirvana Street, which occupies a large part of the film. ‘Nirvana Street Murder’ was compared to a Monaro by the Sydney Film Festival critics.
