Nitin Chandra Ganatra OBE (born 30 June 1967) is a Kenyan-born British actor. He is known for portraying Masood Ahmed in the BBC soap opera , EastEnders (2007–2019), for which he won a British Soap Award .

He has recently worked with Tim Burton again on the Netflix series ‘ Wednesday’ and with Tom Hiddleston in ‘Estuary’ based on the book ‘ Essex Serpent ’ for Apple TV. Nitin was awarded an OBE in the 2022 New Year Honours for his contribution to drama, and his continuing charity work.
