No Reason to Cry is the fourth studio album by British musician Eric Clapton . It was released in August 1976 under the Rso Records label. In 1990 the album was released on CD. The album was recorded at Shangri-la Studios in March 1976.
Il grande problema del pur discreto No Reason to Cry è proprio la mancanza di una forte identità, alienazione causata probabilmente dalle scelte ─ orgiastiche ─ di line-up, che per vie arcane "impediscono" al buon Clapton di esprimere le sue doti blues più veraci, a favore di un pop/rock più docile, piatto e privo di sostanza.
