I remember I found it through the terms "Nobuo Uematsu" and the song title was labeled with his name, but as these MP3 files always go, it may not have actually been official Uematsu work (I've tried looking). I remember my favorite one starting off with the FF2 rebel army theme, then it transitions into the FF6 overworld theme.

As with the original, Final Fantasy II was programmed by Nasir Gebelli. Midway through the development of the game, Gebelli was forced to return to Sacramento, California from Japan due to an expired work visa.
