Today, the School has more than 1,200 undergraduates, 700 graduate students, and 170 faculty members, and six majors in five departments. Our Academic Offerings Explore our options by type.
The School of Communication offers a variety of program options, which can be combined to pursue your academic interests and career goals. In addition to the majors, minors and certificates, our modules are additional programs of study that include coursework, pre-professional experiences and a capstone project.
The Northwestern Master of Science in Communication. Advance your career, become a communication expert, and enhance your leadership. The Northwestern MSC degree program is a doorway. Those who choose to open it find the skills to transform into valued and effective leaders.
Undergraduate Admission. Prospective students can apply to the Northwestern and the School of Communication via the Coalition or Common Application. Options include first year (early decision, regular decision or QuestBridge) or transfer applications.
The School of Communication itself offers the doctor of audiology, the master of arts in sound arts and industries, and master of science degrees in communication, health communication, leadership for creative enterprises, and speech, language, and learning.
