14 mar 2023 · The piping and drumming events of the Highlands & Islands Music & Dance Festival take place on Saturday, April 29 in Oban High School. The competitions are organised by the Netherlorn Piping Society and they are offering Junior Drumming, and Junior and Senior Piping events. Closing date for all entries is April 7, 2023.
Oban High School is a six year non denominational school situated on a single site near the centre of Oban serving the town itself, surrounding villages and the scattered rural and island communities of North Argyll.

The Glencruitten Hostel provides support and accommodation for young people studying in Oban High School who live too far away to travel every day. Young people from the islands of Colonsay, Coll, Mull, Lismore, Iona, Kerrera, Gometra, Tiree, Shuna and Easdale as well as from Bridge of Orchy may stay at Glencruitten.
