From the start of the album, the keys and bass set the mood for the song, enter the vocals that give a psychedelic feel then the distortion for the song. The song continues and is pieced together by the next song, which acts as its continuation.

14 ago 2020 · Legacy. “I am the Morning” was the influence for the Russian band iamthemorning to take the name, and over time, Oceansize has been tagged as one of the all-time favorites. The American band Covet also paid homage to Oceansize with their 2018 album named Effloresce. Steven Wilson and Mike Portnoy are great admirers of the band.
