This movie is based on the classic Homer's Odyssey, but it takes certain liberties. It focus on that part in which Odysseus is attracted by the sirens' song, is shipwrecked and ends up on an island. The chant here is sung by the sorceress Persephone, a fallen goddess imprisoned on an island surrounded by bloodthirsty winged creatures.
