Roy Wood's 1979 album _On the Road Again_ seems intended as a competition for the now vastly more successful Electric Light Orchestra. No doubt, Roy must have felt completely eclipsed by the band he'd left six years prior, not long after helping found it. His own solo career couldn't touch the ELO's heyday.
