Storia del gruppo. Otep Shamaya, Rob Patterson, Evil J e Moke, nei primi anni 2000 intrapresero insieme alcuni concerti, nei club di Los Angeles. In uno di questi, furono notati dal produttore Terry Date ( Capitol Records ), con cui incisero il loro primo EP Jihad ( 2001 ).
3 ago 2023 · Pubblicato il 03/08/2023. Gli OTEP, band guidata da Otep Shamaya, pubblicheranno il nuovo album “ The God Slayer ” il 15 settembre su Cleopatra Records. Il disco conterrà canzoni nuove e cover di Eminem, Billie Eilish, SLIPKNOT, Lil Peep, Olivia Rodrigo e NIRVANA.
