Hereditary Prince Otto of Hesse-Kassel (24 December 1594 in Kassel – 7 August 1617 in Hersfeld ), was hereditary prince of Hesse-Kassel and administrator of Hersfeld Abbey. He predeceased his father and never reigned.

Otto: Son and hereditary prince. Predeceased his father aged 22. 1622: Ludwig V of Hessen-Darmstadt gains his title from his attachment to the Holy Roman emperor. Darmstadt is sub-divided so that the minor principality of Hessen-Homburg can be created for Ludwig's youngest brother, Frederick.

28 dic 2022 · When Prinz Otto Adolf von Hessen Kassel was born on 3 June 1937, in Roma, Lazio, Italy, his father, Prinz Philipp Wilhelm von Hessen Kassel, was 40 and his mother, Principessa Mafalda Savoia d'Italia, was 34.
Hesse-Kassel and its junior lines were annexed by Prussia in 1866. Hesse-Darmstadt became the People's State of Hesse when the monarchy was abolished in 1918. Hesse-Philippsthal died out in the male line in 1925, and Hesse-Darmstadt in 1968. The male-line heirs of Hesse-Kassel and Hesse-Philippsthal-Barchfeld continue to exist to the present day.
9 ott 2021 · She fined Hereditary Marshal (Germ: Erbmarschall) Curt Riedesel and imprisoned Otto von der Malsburg. Footnote 150 After more than 3 weeks, Malsburg was released on 22 January 1650. A rebellion was punishable by death; however, Malsburg received a fine of 400 gold guldens.
