Our Miss Brooks was the only film made by the newly formed Lute Productions, Inc., a company owned by Arden and Lewis. Two new characters, "Larry Nolan" and "Gary Nolan," were added for the film. Although her appearance in the film has not been confirmed, an August 1955 Hollywood Reporter news item adds Dinah Ace to the cast.
