13 apr 2012 · I was a student at Outremont High School in Montreal from 1958 to 1962, a school that in those days was almost entirely Jewish in its student body. It had opened its doors in 1956, and, so to speak, had replaced Baron Byng High, located in the old Jewish neighbourhood made famous by Mordecai Richler, as Montreal’s premier “Jewish” high school.
