Matthew William Sorum ( Venice Beach, 19 novembre 1960) è un batterista statunitense . Ha suonato in gruppi del calibro dei Guns N' Roses, The Cult e dal 2002 è membro dei Velvet Revolver. Ha suonato con i Motörhead in sostituzione di Mikkey Dee, durante la sua partecipazione al reality I'm a Celebrity.

Duff said that: "Matt (Sorum) really did pull the band back together. He learned 38 tunes in a month, got them all down perfect." In 1995 he joined Slash for the sideproject Slash's Snakepit, he also played some drums at Gilby Clarke's solorecord, "PawnShop Guitar", (at following songs; Black, Tijuana Jail, and PawnShop Guitars).
