13 dic 2006 · Peter Boyle was born on Oct. 18, 1935, in Northtown, Pa. After graduating from La Salle College, he became a member of the Christian Brothers order and entered a monastery as Brother Francis.
Peter Boyle (født 18. oktober 1935, død 12. december 2006) var en amerikansk skuespiller. Før Boyle bestemte sig for at blive skuespiller var han munk ved "the Christian Brothers order". Han var bedst kendt for sin rolle som "Frank Barone" i TV-serien Alle elsker Raymond , og for sine filmroller i Frankenstein junior ( 1974 ), Taxi Driver ( 1976 ) og Monster Ball ( 2001 ).

12 dic 2006 · Tragically, Peter Boyle died of multiple myeloma and heart disease almost exactly one year after Raymond took its final network bow, and shortly after his appearance in the holiday film The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. He passed away in New York's Presbyterian Hospital, on December 12, 2006, only two months after his seventy-first birthday.
