Peter Mullan (/ ˈ m ʊ l ən /; born 2 November 1959) is a Scottish actor and director. He is best known for his role in Ken Loach's My Name Is Joe (1998) and The Claim (2000). Mullan appeared in cult classics such as Riff-Raff (1991), Braveheart (1995), Trainspotting (1996), Young Adam (2003), Children of Men (2006), War Horse (2011) and the Harry Potter series (2010–11).

Peter Mullan ( Peterhead, 2 november 1959) is een Schots acteur, regisseur en scenarist . Mullan was de vijfde van acht kinderen uit een rooms-katholiek gezin. Zijn moeder was verpleegster en zijn vader laboratoriumtechnicus aan de universiteit van Glasgow. Het gezin verhuisde later naar Cardonald, een arbeiderswijk in het zuiden van Glasgow.
