Peter Sellers. Peter Sellers (Richard Henry Sellers) è un attore inglese, regista, è nato il 8 settembre 1925 a Southsea (Gran Bretagna) ed è morto il 24 luglio 1980 all'età di 54 anni a Londra (Gran Bretagna). Nel 1980 ha ricevuto il premio come miglior attore al Golden Globes per il film Oltre il giardino.
Peter Sellers, CBE (* 8. September 1925 in Portsmouth als Richard Henry Sellers; † 24. Juli 1980 in London ), war ein britischer Komiker und Filmschauspieler. Der Spezialist für Auftritte in den unterschiedlichsten Rollen und Verkleidungen wurde spätestens als trotteliger Inspektor Clouseau in der Filmreihe Der rosarote Panther bekannt.
Pink-Panther-Reihe. Als Pink-Panther-Reihe bezeichnet man die US-amerikanischen Spielfilme, die ab 1963 entstanden sind und den Pariser Polizeiinspektor Jacques Clouseau zur Hauptfigur haben. Clouseau, als Figur von Regisseur Blake Edwards erfunden, wurde ursprünglich von Peter Sellers gespielt.
