Pierre-Auguste Renoir (Limoges, 1841 – Cagnes-sur-Mer, 1919) è uno dei più importanti pittori dell’Impressionismo. Pierre-Auguste Renoir nasce il 25 febbraio 1841 a Limoges ed inizia giovanissimo, a tredici anni, a studiare e a sperimentare l'arte del dipingere come decoratore di porcellane in una fabbrica di Parigi, dove rimane per quattro anni.
