Place to Turn Around was a true “hands on” album for Hayes and he released it independently. “It’s the album I always wanted to make,” he says. As I listen to the album play through one more time, while trying to think of the right words to do it justice, it finally dawns on me, there is only one word that is appropriate, “Encore.”
