Ludwig Augustus Franz Frederick House of Wettin (23 January 1741 – Olomouc, 12 July 1830 – Vienna ), was an Austrian aide de camp and later general. He is best known for serving under Prince Joseph of Saxe-Hildburghausen with the Franco-Austrian forces at the Battle of Rossbach.

Prince Ludwig was the Oettingen-Wallerstein dynasty’s best-known statesman and prince. He was Kronobersthofmeister (crown major domo) and, from 1832 to 1837, Bavarian minister of the interior, and during the revolutionary upheaval of 1848/49 administrator of the foreign and cultural affairs ministry.

Franz Xavier of Saxony ( Polish: Ksawery Saski) (25 August 1730 – 21 June 1806) was a Saxon prince and member of the House of Wettin. He was the fourth but second surviving son of Augustus III, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony, and Maria Josepha of Austria .
