關於培僑中學. 二次世界大戰結束後，香港百廢待興，一批愛國人士於1946年創辦培僑中學。 學校最初主要招收東南亞的華僑子弟，期望通過教育讓他們了解中國國情和發展前景，從而成為新中國建設的支持力量，故定名為「培僑中學」。 1949年以後，學生雖漸以本地生和僑鄉學生為主，惟「培僑」之名仍沿用不替。 培僑中學創立時，租用位於跑馬地樂活道名為「朗園」的別墅為校舍，設有高中、初中和小學，共11個班級。 1955年，學校自行加建幾個新課室，全校擴至23班。 學校十分重視教學的改革創新與學生的全面發展。 學生積極參與各項體育活動，並在學界取得優異成績。 1967年，培僑中學銅鑼灣分校新校舍落成，小學部遷至該處。 1969年，上水分教處開辦。 1979年，朗園業主把物業售予發展商，培僑需另覓新址辦校。
Pui Kiu Middle School (Chinese: 培僑中學) is a secondary school in Hong Kong. Located in the Eastern District area of North Point. The school uses Chinese language as a medium of instruction. During a portion of its history in British Hong Kong it was known as being pro-Mainland China.

In 1946, our first school in Hong Kong, Pui Kiu Middle School, was founded. Our mission is to nurture outstanding young people for the ever improving Hong Kong society, as well as to contribute to China's growth.
