L. 수브라마니암 (Pandit Dr. Lakshminarayana Subramaniam)은 고전적인 카르나틱 (Carnatic) 음악전통과 서양 클래식음악으로 훈련받은 찬사를 받는 인도 바이올리니스트, 작곡가이자 지휘자로서 오케스트라 융합에서 거장의 연주기술과 작곡법으로 명성이 높다. 수브라마니암은 둘다 기량이 뛰어난 뮤지션인 V. For each of the three pieces in this concert, L. Subramaniam plays a different raga (melodic mode) of south Indian music. Each raga is associated with a particular emotion, time of day, and, in north India, with a season of the year.
