Randal Keynes. Randal Hume Keynes, OBE, FLS ( / ˈkeɪnz / KAYNZ; 29 July 1948 – 26 March 2023) was a British conservationist, author, and great-great-grandson of Charles Darwin . Family background. Keynes was born in Cambridge, England. He is the son of the Hon. Anne Pinsent (née Adrian) and physiologist Richard Keynes.
