Matthew Herbert (born in 1972), also known as Herbert, Doctor Rockit, Radio Boy, Mr. Vertigo, Transformer, and Wishmountain, is a British electronic musician. He often takes sounds from everyday items to produce electronic music.
Matthew Herbert makes his debut on Foom with The Recording–an EP written, produced and recorded in one week in Berlin in front of (and with the participation of) a live audience. Opener "Day Three" is one of Matthew Herbert's most exuberant dancefloor tracks in a while, its rhythms awash with mischief and urgency.
