I Red Hot Chili Peppers (talvolta abbreviato semplicemente in RHCP o Red Hot) sono un gruppo musicale rock statunitense, formatosi a Los Angeles nel 1983 e composto da Anthony Kiedis (voce), Flea (basso, cori), John Frusciante (chitarra, cori) e Chad Smith (batteria, percussioni).

- “Californication” (1999) La title track di Californication è la migliore canzone che Kiedis abbia mai scritto, ma ha rischiato di non esistere. È uno dei primi pezzi a cui ha lavorato con Frusciante dopo il suo ritorno nella band e l’ultimo che hanno registrato per il disco.
- “Scar Tissue” (1999) Il singolo-bomba che ha lanciato Californication è la canzone più dolce della carriera dei Chili Peppers e riassume la loro storia personale e collettiva.
- “The Zephyr Song” (2002) The Zephyr Song è la canzone dei Red Hot che più ricorda il sound dei Beach Boys. È la loro Feel Flows. La melodia è euforica e al tempo stesso sobria, un viaggio psichedelico che si trasforma in un pianto catartico.
