Introduzione. L' auto elettrica a batteria (BEV, a inizio '900 chiamata anche "elettromobile" [1]) fu una tra i primi tipi di automobile ad essere inventata, sperimentata e commercializzata. Tra il 1832 ed il 1839 (l'anno esatto è poco certo), l'imprenditore scozzese Robert Anderson inventò la prima carrozza elettrica, nella sua forma più rozza.
Robert Anderson (June 14, 1805 – October 26, 1871) was a United States Army officer during the American Civil War. He was the Union commander in the first battle of the American Civil War at Fort Sumter in April 1861 when the Confederates bombarded the fort and forced its surrender to start the war.

22 feb 2022 · Siamo attorno al 1830 quando l’imprenditore scozzese Robert Anderson ideò la prima carrozza elettrica e negli stessi anni, precisamente nel 1835, il professore olandese Sibrandus Stratingh progettò il primo modello di auto elettrica, costruita in seguito dal suo collaboratore Cristopher Becker.
Robert Anderson (Louisville, 14 giugno 1805 – Nizza, 26 ottobre 1871) è stato un generale statunitense, ufficiale dell'Esercito dell'Unione nel corso della Guerra di secessione americana, noto per essere stato al comando nella Battaglia di Fort Sumter all'inizio delle ostilità.
