Robert Francis Vaughn (November 22, 1932 – November 11, 2016) was an American stage, film and television actor, author, political activist and advertising spokesperson whose career spanned nearly six decades. Born in New York City, Vaughn died from acute leukemia in Danbury, Connecticut eleven days before his 84th birthday.
