Sir Roger Clarendon (c.1350–1402), was a royal bastard and conspirator, who was executed for treason. [1] Biography. Clarendon was a natural son of Edward the Black Prince, and his mistress, Edith Willesford. He was a paternal half-brother to Richard II of England.

He married the heiress of the Baron de la Roche which should have set him up rather nicely but unfortunately she died without children and her land was distributed between her cousins.

Roger Clarendon nacque da una relazione tra Edoardo di Woodstock e Édith de Willesford intorno al 1350. Sebbene fosse un bastardo, ricevette nel 1372 da suo nonno Edoardo III una pensione annuale di 100 sterline.
