Rupprecht, Crown Prince of Bavaria, Duke of Bavaria, Franconia and in Swabia, Count Palatine by the Rhine (Rupprecht Maria Luitpold Ferdinand; English: Robert Maria Leopold Ferdinand; 18 May 1869 – 2 August 1955), was the last heir apparent to the Bavarian throne.
Rupprecht nacque a Monaco di Baviera, primogenito di Ludovico III, ultimo re di Baviera, e di Maria Teresa Enrichetta d'Asburgo-Este, nipote di Francesco V d'Este. Comandò la 6ª Armata tedesca allo scoppio della prima guerra mondiale in Lorena.
Il 10 luglio 1900 a Monaco di Baviera, Maria Gabriella sposò suo cugino di secondo grado il Principe Rupprecht di Baviera. Rupprecht era il figlio maggiore del Principe Ludovico di Baviera (in seguito Principe Reggente e Re di Baviera) e di Maria Teresa d'Austria-Este.
