Ruth Prawer Jhabvala (Colonia, 7 maggio 1927 – New York, 3 aprile 2013) è stata una sceneggiatrice e scrittrice inglese. È conosciuta soprattutto grazie alla sua lunga collaborazione con James Ivory. Ruth Prawer Jhabvala CBE (née Prawer; 7 May 1927 – 3 April 2013) was a British and American novelist and screenwriter. She is best known for her collaboration with Merchant Ivory Productions , made up of film director James Ivory and producer Ismail Merchant .
