Ryland Steen (born August 31, 1980) is an American drummer who was drummer for ska punk band Reel Big Fish from 2005 to 2014 and is the current drummer for soft rock band America since 2014. He has also performed with Maroon 5 , Kris Allen , and Phantom Planet .

My name is Ryland Steen. I've been a member of the classic rock band AMERICA for the last 8 years. Before joining AMERICA, I was a member of the ska/punk band REEL BIG FISH (2005-2014). My studio, potofgoldrecording.com, is a 2,500 sq. foot space based in Orange, CA.
In February 2015, the band announced through its website that drummer Ryland Steen had gone on hiatus from the band in order to play drums in America. Since the summer of 2014, Edward Beach (née Larsen) of Suburban Legends has been filling in.
