Russian higher education is a multi-level system: Level 1: Pre-university courses, which take 1 year to complete; Level 2: Undergraduate degree (Baccalaureate), which takes 4 years; Level 3: Specialists’ Diploma (5 years in total), or Master’s Degree (2 years following the undergraduate degree).

The programme is designed to train experts who are capable of: identifying and analysing relationships in economic systems of various levels; developing and taking economic, financial and organisational decisions; and evaluating their results, taking into account socio-economic efficiency, risks and possible socio-economic consequences.
