Film minimalista nei dialoghi e nella trama, è massimalista nel suo appproccio, lasciando spazio a stati d'animo, atmosfere, immagini di una natura onnipotente che sembra rivendicare i suoi diritti. C'è spazio anche per la figura paradossale del sole, fonte di vita, ma anche di distruzione.
