26 mar 2001 · The film had a sequel which is pretty bad called Saturday the 14th Strikes Back (1988). Saturday the 14th is not as funny as Transylvania 6-5000 (parody of Universal Monsters which is good) nor is it as bad as I know what you Did last Friday the 13th.

14 ott 2016 · Parodies can be very tough, not only to write but to pull off. To its credit Saturday the 14th tries to deliver the jokes one after the other in a seemingly non-stop progression. I don't mind that Saturday the 14th is a relentlessly madcap comedy set in a haunted house à la The Amityville Horror or Burnt Offerings rather than at a Friday the 13th summer camp, or that the demonic dwelling is populated by vampires (one of them played by Jeffrey Tambor) as well as some very rubbery-looking monsters (which is to say actors in flimsy costumes) and animatronic puppets.
