Schwanensee, op. 20 (französisch Le lac des cygnes; russisch Лебединое Озеро, Lebedinoje osero; englisch Swan Lake), ist ein weltberühmtes Ballett zur Musik von Pjotr Iljitsch Tschaikowski, das seine Uraufführung im Jahr 1877 am Bolschoi-Theater in Moskau erlebte und zum Standardrepertoire klassischer Ballettkompanien gehört.
t. e. Swan Lake (Russian: Лебеди́ное о́зеро, tr. Lebedínoje ózero, IPA: [lʲɪbʲɪˈdʲinəjə ˈozʲɪrə] listen ⓘ ), Op. 20, is a ballet composed by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875–76. Despite its initial failure, it is now one of the most popular ballets of all time.

Misc. Notes Typically inserted directly in Act III after No.20, if used at all; scored for solo violin and orchestra. This number was probably first issued in the 1895 printing of the full score, where it appeared as a supplement, along with Drigo's orchestrations of three Op.72 piano pieces used in the 1895 revival.

He escapes to dream worlds where the swans, the beloved Odette, her evil double Odile and the sorcerer Rothbart become real figures for him, who ultimately cause his death.
