Shrewsbury School is a boarding school for co-education of boys and girls, founded by Edward VI in 1552 on the basis of the Royal Charter. The current very beautiful, spacious campus, into which the school moved in 1882, is located high above the Severn River, in the city of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The city is 14.5 km from the border with Wales.
